Orientation.

Fordham College at Lincoln Center’s 3 Day orientation was downright one of the most grueling days of event coverage I have ever done. With the chaos of move-in, anxiety of parents, and anxiousness of new students to just dive right into the college life, I had the opportunity to capture so many different angles of Fordham that I used to think of as only an afterthought. Overall it makes me proud to say We are Fordham.

Commute

Simply put, I think what I see in the viewfinder has changed significantly from where I started. As to what it is exactly, I can’t exactly pin it. However, I will tell you it’s because of the people around me that it is influenced.

Re-orientation

Part of life is being reoriented through the various parts one experiences life thorough. In this case, I was given an opportunity to cover the Summer Orientation Program at FCLC. The outdoor lighting was truly a blessing in that the sun allowed me to work without a tripod the entire day. But even more so, allowed to truly capture the mood of the day which was quite joyful.

Yesterday I went down to McMahon 205/206 to watch the Tae Kwon Do Exhibition. It was actually an interesting event to shoot since the subjects were constantly moving, but not necessarily in the same sense of say a dance competition. In this case it was interesting freezing all the motion to come out with what I think were interesting shots. A lot of the vertical shots brought about a different motion than I was used to capturing.
