My good friend Lauren asked me to come on the Secret Santa music video shoot for John-Flor. Let me just say that shoot was both beyond what I expected and lots of work. But all in all it was a lot of fun. Be on the lookout for the music video in the coming weeks.
Capturing the process behind the scenes adds perspective to what is put into an event. Be it a dance competition, conference, or even a meeting, there are so many things that go on behind the scenes. But of course there’s the training behind it all. Fordham College at Lincoln Center’s NSO staff asked me to document the process. Here’s a little glimpse into it:
Finally onto Day 1 of shooting of Jay Legaspi‘s music video for Picture Perfect. Cast and crew worked all through the evening in a space courtesy of Matt Sia. JR Pena asked me to document the process, which presented its own technical hurdles with low lighting. The need for some artificial light along with the constraints of shooting a live video shoot, made things a bit difficult at times, but also allowed me to try different techniques. Being couped up in a house all sick, I was of course delighted to both get some fresh air and enjoy the summer sun, while doing what I do best: capturing what I see before me.
London, a city so rich in history that most museums are free, and walking out your doorstep will introduce you to generations of culture.
